2025-2026 Season

 

 Louisiana Delta Ballet is happy to announce its season for 2025-2026.  We begin our 22nd season  with "The Dracula Experience"!   This ballet tells a dark, yet juicy love story.  Be taken on a journey across centuries into a dark world where true love never dies with outstanding dancing and gripping theatre.   At Christmas , take a journey on "The Polar Express". Join the Conductor, Chris, and all the children on The Polar Express, as they journey to the North Pole and discover that they really do “Believe”. This original theater production of Chris Van Allsburg’s famous children’s book offers state-of-the-art sets and scenery, beautiful costumes, and excellent production value. With all of the classic elements (and some surprises!), this is a must see for all ages!   And don’t forget to save the date – February 27, 2026 – for our annual fundraiser, “Dancing With the Louisiana Stars”  which supports our season. We close our season with a Gala - "En Avant!"  - a performance of original and innovative works in various dance styles  Preserving the Classical, Exploring the Contemporary -  it is a collaboration of Louisiana Delta Ballet and the Missy Crain Performing Company  This event will be held at Howard Auditorium on the beautiful campus of Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, LA.  Join LDB this season and let us share our passion with you!

Dracula

Join us for "The Dracula Experience" - tantalizing, sensuous, …….and creepy, all at the same time.  This ballet tells a dark, yet juicy love story. Dissatisfied with his undead brides, Dracula fixates on Mina, a young woman who’s head over heels for a mortal man, to satiate his thirst for fresh blood. His obsession traps Mina and her new fiancé Frederick, in a dangerous love triangle.  Be taken on a journey across centuries into a dark world where true love never, dies with outstanding dancing and gripping theatre.  

  • October 18, 2025 - Gala performance at 7:30 p.m. with a Patron Party in the Theater Lobby at 6:30 p.m.

The Polar Express

En Avant!

Preserving the Classical, Exploring the Contemporary -  A Collaboration of Louisiana Delta Ballet and the Missy Crain Performing Company.  This unique performance is a Spring Gala of original and innovative works in various dance styles.  It features choreographers such as Thom Clower and more!

Annual Fundraiser "Dancing With the Louisiana Stars"

  • 7:00 p.m. Cocktails and Hors d 'Oeuvres will be served at 6:00 p.m. (included for all table purchases). Performance and competition begins at 7:00 p.m.
